This forum is being organized to provide candidates the opportunity to address the hardworking men and women of the Union Carpenters and to respond directly to questions from our membership. The event will focus on issues impacting working families, skilled trades, economic development, infrastructure investment, labor policy, workforce training, and regional growth throughout Northwest Indiana.

This invitation is extended to Republican candidates at the federal, state, and local level who have an active race in the 2026 Primary and/or General Election within Lake, Porter, or LaPorte Counties, Indiana. We believe it is important for our members to hear directly from those seeking public office and to better understand each candidate’s vision, priorities, and commitment to policies affecting the construction industry and organized labor.
